Christians Must Carry Holy Ghost Authority – IPEC Founder

The Founder and Leader of the International Power Endowment Chapel (IPEC), Prophet Daniel Doe, has urged Christians to understand and exercise the authority of the Holy Ghost to overcome spiritual attacks and challenges.
According to him, the authority of the Holy Ghost gives believers the power to command, control and influence what happens around them, both spiritually and physically.

Prophet Doe made the call on Sunday, October 4, 2026, when he preached at the climax of IPEC’s 10th anniversary celebration at the church’s auditorium at Odeneho Kwadaso (Star Inside) in Kumasi.
He said some Christians continued to struggle with sicknesses, poverty, confusion and other challenges not necessarily because God had failed to answer their prayers, but because they had either failed to receive the Holy Spirit or had not tapped into the authority available to them.

“The moment you have the authority, there is power to control, power to command and power to determine what happens within your ambience and your atmosphere,” he said.
Prophet Doe explained that believers could carry the authority of the Holy Ghost through three major foundations—the name, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He described the name of Jesus Christ as the first key to exercising the authority of the Holy Ghost, stressing that believers must have faith in the name and use it confidently.
“The first way to carry the authority of the Holy Ghost is through the name Jesus Christ. You need to believe, have faith and use the name Jesus Christ; otherwise, you cannot carry the authority of the Holy Ghost,” he stated.

Citing Acts 4:12, he said salvation could not be found in any other name except that of Jesus Christ.
The IPEC leader also said the death of Christ had given believers victory over condemnation and accusations from the devil.
He explained that Satan, described in the Bible as “the accuser of the brethren,” would always seek to remind Christians of their sins and failures in an attempt to weaken their faith.

Prophet Doe, however, said the death of Jesus Christ had paid the price for the condemnation of believers and therefore Christians should not allow accusations to prevent them from exercising their spiritual authority.
He further cited Jeremiah 1:19, where God assured the prophet that although people would fight against him, they would not prevail because God would be with him to deliver him.
According to him, the scripture demonstrated that the presence of the Spirit of God guaranteed victory for believers even in the face of opposition.
He also referred to the healing of the lame man by Peter and John in Acts 3, saying the apostles demonstrated the authority of the Holy Ghost through the name of Jesus Christ.
Prophet Doe urged Christians to deepen their relationship with the Holy Spirit and learn to exercise the spiritual authority available to them through Christ.
10th Anniversary
The sermon climaxed a week-long celebration marking the 10th anniversary of IPEC.
The anniversary began on September 27 and ended on October 4, with several activities held to commemorate the milestone.

The activities included a community clean-up exercise, a football tournament and a musical programme, among others.
Members of the church, invited guests and well-wishers participated in the celebrations as the church marked 10 years of ministry.
Prophet Doe used the occasion to encourage members to remain committed to God and to recognise the power and authority available to them through the Holy Spirit.
He reiterated that the name, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ were key to carrying and exercising the authority of the Holy Ghost.
