Atwima Kwanwoma DCE Woos Canadian Investors for Development Drive

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma, Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah, has held a high-level meeting with a delegation of investors from Jadford Inc. of Canada, aimed at forging strategic partnerships for the development of the district.

The delegation, led by Clement Nana Boadi and accompanied by Henry Blowski, paid a courtesy call on the DCE at her office as part of efforts to explore investment opportunities within the district.

The engagement forms part of the Assembly’s drive to attract foreign direct investment and strengthen private sector participation in key development areas to accelerate socio-economic growth.

Discussions focused on potential investment opportunities in agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure, and other critical sectors identified as key to the transformation of the district.

The investors expressed strong interest in partnering the Assembly, assuring the DCE of their financial readiness to support major projects across various sectors. They further indicated their willingness to collaborate closely with the Assembly to identify viable projects and ensure effective implementation.

Clement Nana Boadi, who led the delegation, stressed the importance of cooperation between local authorities and international investors, describing such partnerships as essential for unlocking the economic potential of Atwima Kwanwoma. He said the engagement marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration aimed at delivering meaningful development outcomes.

Henry Blowski, a representative of Jadford Inc., also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to sustainable development, expressing optimism about building a strong partnership with the Assembly.

In her remarks,  Hon. Agyemang Asamoah welcomed the investors and commended their interest in the district. She assured them of the Assembly’s full support and readiness to provide the necessary institutional backing to facilitate their investments.

She outlined several priority areas within the district that present viable investment opportunities and emphasized the Assembly’s openness to innovative partnerships that will drive development, create jobs, and improve living standards.

The DCE further reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and efficiency in all investment engagements.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing optimism about the partnership and agreeing to take steps towards formalizing discussions and advancing project-specific collaborations.
