Man On The Run After Allegedly Killing Friend Over GH¢20
A 27-year-old man, Kwadwo Richmond, is on the run after allegedly killing his friend over a GH¢20 dispute at Asante Akyem Asuboah in the Ashanti Region.
The victim, identified only as Elvis, reportedly got into a misunderstanding with the suspect after failing to give him GH¢20 he had earlier promised.
Reports indicate that the two met outside the community, where the disagreement escalated into a heated argument.
In the course of the confrontation, Richmond allegedly attacked Elvis with a cutlass, inflicting fatal injuries.
The victim is said to have died shortly after the incident.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene and is currently in hiding.
The incident has left residents in shock, with many describing the killing as unfortunate and worrying, especially over such a minor amount.
Police are yet to officially comment on the matter, but sources say a manhunt is underway to apprehend the suspect.
