Queen Florence, UK Donor Celebrate Easter with Orphanage

A UK-based pastor and gospel singer, Prophetess Florence Opoku Agyemang, popularly known as Queen Florence, together with a UK donor, has celebrated Easter with children at the Beads of Life Foundation at New Koforidua in the Ejisu Juaben Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The event, which brought joy and excitement to the children, formed part of activities marking the Easter season, commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Queen Florence, who is currently in Ghana on holiday, dined with the children and shared fellowship with them, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere.

As part of the celebration, she presented assorted items including soft drinks, malt, pens, pencils, stationery pouches, footwear and children’s Christian literature to support their wellbeing and spiritual growth.

Speaking during the visit, she emphasised the need to show love and care to children, especially the underprivileged, noting that such acts reflect true Christian values.

She stated that children are blessings from God and must be nurtured with care, adding that supporting orphans is in line with biblical teachings.

The donation was sponsored by Mrs. Anita Baffour, a UK-based philanthropist, who highlighted the importance of investing in children, particularly during their early years.

According to her, providing the right foundation for children is key to shaping their future, stressing her commitment to supporting less privileged children in Ghana.

She explained that the initiative is part of efforts to extend the level of care given to children in the United Kingdom to those in her home country.

In addition to the food items, the team also presented party packages, colouring books, crayons and pencils to encourage learning and bring happiness to the children.

Mrs. Baffour assured the children of her continued support and appealed to corporate organisations and individuals to support the foundation.

Mother of the Beads of Life Foundation, Ms. Doris Agyemang, expressed gratitude to the donors for their kind gesture and prayed for God’s blessings upon them, while appealing for more support to sustain the home.
