Three Killed, One Critical In Kumasi-Offinso Highway Crash
A fatal road accident has claimed three lives and left one person in critical condition on the Kumasi-Offinso Highway in the Ashanti Region.
The tragic crash occurred on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Anyinasuso near Offinso, when an articulated truck travelling from Aboffuor towards Kumasi reportedly lost control and ploughed into three vehicles.
Eyewitnesses told Swiftnews3 that the truck veered off its lane before crashing into the vehicles, causing extensive damage.
A Toyota Vitz was said to be the worst affected in the collision. Three persons lost their lives in the accident, while another sustained severe injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a health facility.
Police officers have since taken over the scene to regulate traffic and launch investigations into the cause of the crash.
The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the morgue pending further procedures.
