Man Kills Partner, Takes Own Life at Kade
A tragic domestic incident has left two people dead at Kade Abease in the Eastern Region.
The deceased have been identified as Samuel Arthur and his cohabiting partner, Deborah. Reports indicate that the couple, who hail from Takorase near Kade, had been living together at Kade Abease for about four months.
According to information gathered from the Assemblyman of the area, Samuel Arthur was employed at a cold store in Kade. Trouble reportedly began after a misunderstanding between the couple, which led Deborah to leave for Kasoa.
She later returned to the house to collect her belongings in order to relocate permanently to Kasoa. During her visit, an altercation allegedly ensued between the two.
Deborah was found dead in the room, after which Samuel Arthur reportedly took his own life.
The police were alerted to the incident and visited the scene. The bodies have since been conveyed to the mortuary at the Kade Government Hospital for preservation and further investigation.
Police have launched an investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
