DCE Grace Agyemang Asamoah Earns “Obaatanpa” Accolade for Exceptional Benevolence in Atwima Kwanwoma

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma, Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah, has once again demonstrated outstanding leadership and compassion, reinforcing her reputation as “Obaatanpa – the woman of our time,” as many residents say the district truly deserves better.

At the district’s last General Assembly meeting, the affable DCE met with Assembly Members, Government Appointees, staff of the Assembly, and security agencies, where she made significant donations to support both welfare and sanitation activities. Items presented included cash, bags of rice, cooking oil, tomatoes, mackerel, wheelbarrows, shovels, brooms for sanitation exercises, and streetlights, all of which were distributed accordingly among the beneficiaries.

In a further show of appreciation and inclusiveness, Hon. Agyemang Asamoah recently extended her benevolence to former and past executives of the party across the constituency. Food items, shirts, and clothing were donated to beneficiaries, cutting across both the aged and the youth.
Affectionately known as Obaatanpa, the DCE later met with Constituency Executives and presented them with cash as a Christmas bonanza. She also purchased 240 bags of rice, which were shared across the entire constituency, with each polling station receiving one bag — a gesture described by party members as unprecedented.

The gesture did not end there. The aged, widows, and party members who are unwell were not forgotten, as they also received cash, food items, clothing, and rice to enable them enjoy the Christmas festivities.
Observers and residents alike say such a scale of generosity is rare in the history of Atwima Kwanwoma, though they acknowledge and appreciate the contributions made by other individuals over the years.

In appreciation, party faithful and residents hailed Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah for her selflessness, saying, “Ayekoo!” while praying for God’s blessings and replenishment upon her efforts.
“As Oliver Twist would say, we ask for more,” they added, expressing hope that her impact on the constituency will be even greater in the years ahead.
