Ahafo Ano South West DCE Named Best Performing DCE of the Year
In recognition of his exceptional leadership and contribution to local governance, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon. Abubakar Sedik, has been named the Best Performing DCE of the Year at the Ghana Leadership Awards 2025.
The honour, jointly presented by the Ghana Leadership Awards in collaboration with the Global Economic Forum, seeks to acknowledge individuals whose leadership has had a lasting impact on Ghana’s economic growth and social development.
A letter announcing the award, dated August 27, 2025, commended Hon. Sadiq for his remarkable dedication to fostering an environment that supports business growth, leadership excellence, and community welfare.
According to the organizers, Hon. Sedik’s human relations, humility, and open-door leadership style have contributed significantly to the progress of the Ahafo Ano South West District.
