NPP News Vendor Boss Back’s NDC Sammy Gyamfi

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) News Vendors Association, Mr. Bismark Ayensu, has commended the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) Ghana Limited, Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, for his outstanding performance and visionary leadership.
According to Mr. Ayensu, despite being a young man, Mr. Gyamfi has demonstrated remarkable dedication and innovation in transforming the Goldbod brand and creating employment opportunities for many Ghanaian youth.
He described Mr. Gyamfi, who also serves as the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as “a precious asset to Ghana” and urged Ghanaians to look beyond partisan politics and support him in his quest to bring about positive change.
“Sammy Gyamfi is a young man with big ideas and a strong passion for national development. We must put aside party colors and encourage such visionary individuals who are making an impact,” Mr. Ayensu said.
He emphasized that progress in Ghana requires collective support for good leadership regardless of political affiliation.
“If an NPP person has good ideas for the nation, we must support him; and if an NDC person does, we should do the same. This is the only way Ghana can move forward,” he added.
Under Mr. Gyamfi’s leadership, Goldbod Ghana Limited has expanded its operations significantly, becoming one of the fastest-growing firms in the construction and logistics sectors. The company has initiated several projects aimed at youth empowerment, including a skills training and apprenticeship program that has benefitted hundreds of young artisans across the Ashanti, Bono, and Greater Accra regions.
Goldbod has also invested in modern machinery to improve efficiency in construction and mining support services, while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. The company’s community outreach initiatives—such as scholarships for brilliant but needy students and the provision of potable water in deprived communities—have earned widespread praise.
Mr. Ayensu commended these efforts, saying they reflect the kind of leadership Ghana needs to foster inclusive development and economic growth.
He called on business leaders, politicians, and civil society organizations to emulate Mr. Gyamfi’s example by combining professional excellence with social responsibility.
“When young leaders like Sammy Gyamfi rise to the challenge and focus on service rather than self, we all stand to gain as a nation,” he concluded.
