36-Year-Old Killed In Bloody Love Fight At Offinso

A 36-year-old man, Kwabena Anokye, has been killed in a violent clash over a woman at Offinso in the Ashanti Region.

The incident, which occurred following a heated confrontation, reportedly involved one Akwasi Anyam, who is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.

According to sources, the tragedy stems from a love triangle involving a woman identified as Adwubi. The deceased was said to have had a child with her before she ended their relationship and later moved on with Anyam.

Anokye, however, is said to have struggled to accept the breakup, leading to a confrontation with Anyam that quickly escalated into a violent exchange.

The two reportedly engaged in a machete fight during which Anokye sustained fatal injuries, while Anyam also suffered wounds.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy.

Meanwhile, information gathered by SWIFTNEWS3 indicates that preparations have already begun for Anokye’s one-week observation, with posters for the ceremony already circulating. The event is expected to be held at Offinso.

Police say investigations are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
