Offinso Crash Claims One Life
A tragic road accident at Offinso Deppaul Junction in the Ashanti Region has claimed the life of a motorcyclist, while another rider is in critical condition.
The incident occurred on Saturday, January 31, 2026, involving a motorcycle and a Toyota Voxy vehicle with registration number AS 6119-25.
According to eyewitness accounts, the driver of the Toyota Voxy was attempting to overtake another vehicle when it collided with the motorcycle carrying two riders. The impact caused both riders to be thrown off the motorbike.
The victims were rushed to a hospital in Offinso, where one of the riders was pronounced dead on arrival. The second rider is currently receiving treatment and is said to be in a critical condition. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
Police have since taken over investigations to establish the circumstances leading to the accident.
