Unidentified Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Near AAMUSTED

An unidentified man, believed to be in his late thirties, has been killed in a hit-and-run accident near the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) campus at Tanoso in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, April 28, near a Shell filling station in the area.

Police from Tanoso rushed to the scene and conveyed the body to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue for preservation and identification.

Investigations are currently underway to establish the identity of the deceased and track down the driver, who reportedly fled the scene after the accident.

Authorities are appealing to the public, especially relatives of missing persons, to contact the Tanoso Police Station to assist in identifying the deceased.

The Assembly Member for the Tanoso Electoral Area, Agwangwalu, who confirmed the incident, also urged the public to provide any relevant information to support police investigations and help locate the family of the deceased.
