Christians Urged to Forgive and Promote Peace at FTMI Easter Convention

Fire Trinity Ministry International (FTMI) has held its Easter Convention at its headquarters at Aburaso in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region, drawing members from various branches across the country.

The convention, which commenced on Thursday evening, April 2, and ended on Sunday, April 5, brought together congregants from Akyeremade, Atwima Yabi, and Oyibi (Kon Divisional Area) in the Greater Accra Region.
Themed “The Blood That Speaks,” the programme featured sermons and spiritual activities aimed at strengthening the faith of participants.

Speakers at the event included Pastor Solomon Akwasi Poku and Pastor Gideon Agyapong, both from the Akyeremade and Atwima Yabi branch of FTMI respectively. The main speaker was Apostle Dr. George Amoako Alhassan, Founder and General Overseer of the ministry.
Delivering a sermon titled “He Has Risen,” based on Luke 24:1-12, Apostle Dr. Amoako Alhassan urged Christians to cultivate a spirit of forgiveness and promote peace in their daily lives.

He emphasised that the resurrection of Jesus Christ serves as a source of hope for believers and confirms the truth of the Word of God.
According to him, while other beliefs may fail, the Word of God remains true and without falsehood.
He noted that the resurrection brings peace and joy to the world, especially among Christians, and called on members to reflect Christ’s presence by ensuring peace wherever they find themselves.

“Let your actions bring peace to you and your neighbours,” he advised.
The Apostle further stressed that forgiveness is essential for unity, good health and spiritual growth, cautioning that the inability to forgive hinders spiritual well-being.

He also encouraged Christians to devote time to studying the Word of God in order to withstand life’s challenges and overcome negative influences.
As part of the convention, Apostle Dr. George Amoako Alhassan led members in the observance of the Lord’s Supper and offered prayers for the congregation, Ghana and the world at large, seeking peace, unity and divine guidance.

He concluded by reaffirming that Jesus Christ is the only one who died and resurrected to demonstrate His divine authority and power to transform lives.
The convention ended with renewed commitment among members to uphold the values of peace, hope and forgiveness.
