Workers’ Day: Murtallah Mohammed Salutes Workers, Seeks Retention

The Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, Murtallah Mohammed, has extended warm greetings to workers across the constituency in celebration of Workers’ Day, commending their dedication and sacrifices towards national development.

He paid tribute to workers in both the formal and informal sectors, including traders, artisans, farmers, drivers, teachers and civil servants, noting that their resilience and commitment continue to drive progress in the area.

Mr. Mohammed’s message comes at a time when party supporters and sympathisers are calling for his retention as Communication Officer, citing his impressive performance and impact on the party’s fortunes in the constituency.

According to party insiders, he played a key role in the NDC’s resounding victory in the 2024 Ghana General Elections, largely through effective communication strategies and strong grassroots mobilisation.

They indicated that his ability to project the party’s message, engage the media, and connect with constituents significantly boosted the party’s image and electoral success in Atwima Kwanwoma.

Mr. Mohammed has also been praised for his consistency, dedication, and accessibility, qualities which, according to supporters, have strengthened unity within the party and deepened its relationship with the electorate.

Party faithful maintain that retaining him in his position would ensure continuity, stability, and sustained growth for the NDC in the constituency.

They argue that his proven track record, strategic communication skills, and commitment to the party’s vision make him well-suited to continue leading its communication front.

Mr. Mohammed is currently seeking to be maintained as the Communication Officer, a move many believe will help consolidate the party’s gains and position it strongly for future political contests.
