Former BOST Boss Arrested at Kotoka Airport

The former Chief Executive Officer of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST), Edwin Provencal, has been arrested by officers of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), Citi News has confirmed.
According to reliable sources, Mr. Provencal was picked up at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) while attempting to board a flight out of the country.
It is gathered that the former BOST boss had been placed on a stop list as part of ongoing investigations into certain activities that occurred during his tenure at the state-owned company.
He was reportedly apprehended on Monday, November 10, while en route to Maputo, Mozambique, without obtaining the necessary authorization for his travel.
EOCO is said to be interrogating Mr. Provencal to assist with its investigations into alleged financial and administrative irregularities during his time in office.
