Kessben Journalist Enstooled as Ɛkoɔnahene of Asante Mampong Traditional Area
A celebrated journalist with Kessben Media, Nana Kwadwo Addai Brobbey, has been enstooled as the Ɛkoɔnahene of the Ɛkoɔna clan in the Asante Mampong Traditional Area.
The colourful ceremony on Monday, August 18, 2025, saw the young journalist take the sacred oath of allegiance, where he pledged to serve with respect, loyalty, and dedication to the people of the Ɛkoɔna family.
In his maiden remarks after swearing-in, Nana Addai Brobbey expressed deep gratitude to Nana Wiredu and the elders of the Ɛkoɔna clan for the confidence reposed in him. He described the honour as a call to service, promising to work diligently to promote unity and harmony among the people.
Reflecting on his journey, the newly enstooled Ɛkoɔnahene credited his recognition to years of selfless service as a former assemblyman in the Asaam electoral area, a role he believes helped earn the admiration and trust of traditional leaders.
Nana Addai Brobbey also used the occasion to encourage the youth to uphold the values of respect and humility, noting that such virtues remain vital in earning trust and preparing them for future leadership roles within their communities.
The enstoolment of Nana Addai Brobbey marks a new chapter for the Ɛkoɔna clan, with high hopes that his leadership will strengthen the bonds of family and tradition in the Asante Mampong Traditional Area.
