Disregard Allegations Against Chief of Staff, NDC Youth Organizers to Party Faithfuls
The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) especially those been shortlisted for the Metropolitan Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) have been advised to disregard allegations peddling against Mr Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff for being behind the selections of the MMDCEs in the various Assemblies.
In a press statement jointly signed by Osman Abdullah Nabali and Richard Etornam Nyarko, Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer and the Eastern Regional Youth Organizer respectively stated that there are false allegations within some of the NDC supporters peddling against the Chief of Staff that he has the final say as to who qualifies to be selected as MMDCEs for the various Assemblies just to tarnish his hard won reputation.
According to the Youth Organizers, their attention has been drawn to the malicious posts and attacks coming from some faceless individuals aimed at tarnishing the hard earned reputation of the Chief of Staff behind changing names on the MMDCEs list with his favourites.
They stressed that the Local Government Minister is the only person on behalf of the President with the authority to appoint MMDCE’s or amend MMDCEs submitted to the Presidency by the working National Chairman and his appointing team.
The statement indicated that Mr Julius Debrah is a responsible and respected party person who will not do anything to undermine the work of the august committee headed by the National Chairman of the ruling NDC.
The Youth Organizers reiterated that Julius Debrah has no interest in making any amendments to the list of MMDCEs submitted to the presidency, and that anyone who will baselessly attack the personality of the Chief of Staff must be disregarded with the contempt it deserves.
