Kofi Job Funds Surgeries For 3 Needy Patients

Renowned road contractor and philanthropist, Mr. Kofi Gyebi Job, and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Esther Okyere Gyebi, have spent nearly GH¢50,000 to fund surgeries and medical treatment for three needy patients.

The support, provided through the Kofi Job Foundation, enabled the beneficiaries to undergo emergency surgeries and other critical medical procedures.

The intervention ensured that the patients received timely medical attention, preventing their conditions from worsening and potentially saving their lives.

Speaking to OTEC FM reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng, who also serves as the Public Relations Officer of the Kofi Job Foundation, one of the beneficiaries, Mama Vida, recounted her ordeal.

According to Mama Vida, she had been suffering from a severe hernia condition but was unable to continue seeking medical treatment due to the high cost involved.

She said her condition had reached an advanced stage when she sought assistance from Mr. Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife.

She explained that the Kofi Job Foundation responded to her appeal by securing the services of a surgeon who conducted the necessary examinations and procedures before performing the surgery.

Mama Vida described the assistance as timely, saying the successful surgery had brought her great relief.

She expressed her appreciation to Mr. Kofi Gyebi Job, Dr. Esther Okyere Gyebi and the Kofi Job Foundation for supporting her during a difficult period.

The two other beneficiaries, including a diabetic patient and a cancer patient, also received medical treatment and underwent surgeries funded by the foundation.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Kizito, who spoke about the three cases, said all the patients required urgent medical attention.

He particularly described the condition of the hernia patient as critical, warning that she could have died if treatment had been delayed further.

Dr. Kizito commended the Kofi Job Foundation for its intervention, noting that the financial support had enabled the beneficiaries to access the urgent medical care they needed.

The Kofi Job Foundation continues to support needy and vulnerable individuals as part of its philanthropic activities aimed at improving access to healthcare.
