Fatal Collision on Buipe–Tamale Road Leaves Four Dead

A fatal road traffic accident on the Buipe–Tamale highway has claimed the lives of four people, including two females and two men, while 19 others sustained injuries.
The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Sawaba No. 2, involving a Sprinter Benz bus with registration number AS 9332-17, which was travelling from Buipe to Kumasi. The bus is reported to have collided with a trailer truck that fled the scene immediately after the crash.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the injured passengers had already been rescued and rushed to the Buipe Government Hospital before fire personnel arrived at the scene.
