Kofi Job Constructions Disowns Kumawu Accident, Calls Reports Linking Firm “False”

Kofi Job Constructions has denied any involvement in the recent fatal accident at Kumawu in the Ashanti Region that claimed four lives, describing reports linking the company to the incident as “completely false.”
In a statement issued on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the company said it is not undertaking any construction work in the Kumawu area and has no trucks operating along that stretch of road. It stressed that none of its vehicles was involved in the tragedy.
The accident occurred on Saturday, January 17, when a tipper truck reportedly lost control and crashed into a container structure, killing four people. Following the incident, claims circulated that the truck belonged to Kofi Job Constructions.
Responding to the allegations, the company categorically rejected the claims, stating that the vehicle involved was not part of its fleet. It urged the public to refrain from spreading misinformation, which it said could unfairly damage its reputation.
Kofi Job Constructions also expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and called for responsible reporting as investigations into the cause of the accident continue.
