Prophet Ebo Noah Arrested After Failed “End-of-World” Flood Prediction

Controversial self-styled prophet Ebo Noah, also known as Evans Eshun, has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service after his widely publicized prediction of a catastrophic flood failed to happen.

The 33-year-old had claimed that December 25, 2025, would mark a global flood that would destroy the world, drawing parallels to the biblical story of Noah. Ebo Noah even built an ark, urging followers to prepare for the impending disaster. His prophecy quickly went viral on social media, sparking debates between believers and skeptics.

Just a day before the predicted calamity, Ebo Noah announced that God had “changed His mind” following his prayers and fasting, effectively calling off the disaster. Authorities, however, declared him wanted for spreading misinformation, leading to his arrest around New Year’s Eve.

In a surprising twist, Ebo Noah appeared at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic concert on December 25 at the Grand Arena in Accra, introducing the rap star to an enthusiastic crowd. He explained that the flood had been prevented through collective prayers, including those from social media users.

Reactions to his appearance were mixed. While some fans defended his right to speak publicly, others accused him of misleading the public with a false prophecy. Many expressed disappointment, questioning the integrity of his claims.
