Devastating Fire Destroys Shops and Homes in Suame Magazine
A major fire broke out late Sunday night in Suame Magazine Zone 4, leaving several shops, five containers, and a two-bedroom apartment destroyed. The blaze, which started around 10:30 pm on November 9, 2025, has displaced residents and caused significant property loss.
Mr. Emmanuel Otoo, one of the affected residents, described the ordeal, saying, “We tried to quench the fire with normal water, but it got out of our control. We then called for help from the fire fighters. The fire is not Electric light, but I think someone caused this devastation. I have lost all my properties and the fire has really hurt us.”
The incident has left the community in shock, with residents appealing to government authorities and philanthropic individuals for assistance in rebuilding their lives.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
