ENAS Hybrid Donates GH¢20,000 to Breast Cancer Patients at KATH

The ENAS Hybrid School community at Ahodwo Daban in Kumasi, has extended a helping hand to women battling breast cancer at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi with a cash donation of GH¢20,000.00.

The donation, which formed part of the school’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities, was presented by the Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Nana Yaa Amo, accompanied by staff, students, and members of the school’s marketing team.
Receiving the donation, Dr. Opare Sem of the Breast Care Unit expressed appreciation to the ENAS Hybrid family for their thoughtfulness and commitment to supporting the fight against breast cancer. He noted that such acts of kindness go a long way in providing relief and hope to patients undergoing treatment.

In her remarks, Mrs. Amo underscored the school’s belief in education that goes beyond academics. “At ENAS Hybrid, we are committed to building compassion and community-mindedness in our students. Giving back to society is a core value we cherish,” she said.
She added that the initiative was also aimed at encouraging early detection and creating more awareness about breast cancer among the youth and the general public.
The hospital’s management commended the school for its continuous show of support and urged other institutions to contribute to improving the lives of patients.

The presentation ceremony ended with an interaction between students, staff, and medical professionals, highlighting the importance of unity in addressing health challenges in society.
