Pioneer Network Hosts Regional Missions and Church Planting Conference in Kumasi

Pioneer Network Ghana has organized a one-day Regional Missions and Church Planting Conference under the theme “From Vision to Mission: Leading the Church into New Frontiers.”
The event, held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Fire Trinity Ministry International in Atwima Aburaso in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region, brought together church leaders, missionaries, and members of various congregations to share ideas and equip participants with practical tools for effective mission work and sustainable church growth.
In a sideline interview with the Daily Guide after the conference, the Regional Leader of the School of Ministry and Pioneer Network for West Africa, Pastor Andrew F. Lendor, emphasized the need for church leaders to translate vision into actionable mission strategies.
He explained that the ultimate vision of God is to see “a multitude in white robes during the second coming of Christ,” stressing that the church must remain focused on missions as its primary mandate.
“The church was established for missions. God talked about missions before even thinking about the church. Any church that does not actively fulfill the Great Commission has forfeited its spiritual right to exist,” Pastor Lendor noted. He further highlighted challenges such as the lack of mission-minded leadership and limited resources, urging churches to realign with their core purpose of evangelism and discipleship.
The theme scriptures were taken from Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8. Participants were also taken through topics such as From Vision to Mission, The Call and Urgency of Missions, Planting and Multiplying Churches, and The Holy Spirit: Power for New Frontiers.
Pioneer Network, which began in the United Kingdom, has grown into a global fellowship of churches with a presence in Australia, the United States, Asia, Africa, and Europe. The network seeks to bring independent churches, often referred to as “one-man churches,” into collaborative fellowship, providing accountability, support, and a united front for kingdom work.
In his remarks, the President of Pioneer Network Ghana, Apostle Dr. George Amoako Alhassan, expressed appreciation to participants and encouraged them to remain steadfast in soul-winning. Quoting from Proverbs 11:30, he reminded the gathering that “the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.”
He urged Christians to cultivate habits of evangelism through personal interaction, community outreach, and creative engagement, describing it as a divine mandate for all believers and not a task reserved only for pastors or evangelists. Apostle Alhassan also called on the global church to unite in pursuit of a common mission to make the world a better place for all.
Organizers described the conference as a timely initiative designed to strengthen the church’s capacity to reach new communities with the gospel while promoting sustainabl growth.
