Four Critically Injured in a Gory Accident at Dichemso Plaza Accident
A tragic accident at Dichemso Plaza in the Kumasi Metropolis on Wednesday morning, September 17, 2025, has left four people in critical condition after a commercial Urvan bus collided with a school bus.
The Urvan bus, with registration number AS-9840-10, was carrying 15 nursing students when it rammed into the school bus, registered GS-3743-22. Fortunately, no students were on board the school bus at the time of the crash.
Eyewitnesses described the collision as severe, with one victim suffering a severed leg and three others rendered unconscious due to the impact. All injured persons were rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), where they are currently receiving emergency treatment.
The accident, which occurred in the early hours of the day, drew a large crowd of shocked residents. Police personnel responded swiftly to the scene, working to manage traffic and maintain order.
