Apostle Paul Agyekum Warns Kennedy Agyapong’s Supporters Against Indiscipline
Founder and leader of Victory Outreach Missions Church, Apostle Paul Kofi Agyekum, has urged supporters of New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant Kennedy Agyapong to avoid practices that could undermine his campaign ahead of the January 2026 general elections.
In a statement released on Friday morning, the cleric emphasized the need for transparency, loyalty, and discipline within the campaign machinery. He cautioned that while supporters may have the freedom to act and speak as they wish, not all actions would benefit either the candidate or the nation.
Agyekum identified the mishandling of campaign donations, lack of accountability, and the spread of false information as potential pitfalls. He advised that all contributions should be documented, expenses accounted for, and reports submitted to the campaign leadership. He further stressed that Kennedy Agyapong should not be misled with negative or fabricated information about individuals working at the grassroots.
The Apostle also called on sympathizers to focus on Agyapong’s vision and policy proposals rather than engaging in insults or personal attacks, particularly against those who may have switched allegiance. He warned against the use of propaganda, noting that Ghanaian voters are now more politically aware and discerning.
He additionally discouraged overreliance on prophecies, urging campaigners to work hard to convince delegates and voters. On church donations, Agyekum said public gestures to congregations that have not supported the campaign could create discontent among clergy who have been loyal without requesting financial aid.
Other concerns raised included the need for strict monitoring of campaign funds, documentation of Agyapong’s policies for public consumption, and early appreciation of supporters rather than waiting until after elections.
Agyekum concluded that Kennedy Agyapong’s movement would only succeed if it embraced unity, honesty, and hard work while avoiding waste and division.
