ICLASS Partners GES to Roll Out KEEP 2025 for Continuous Teacher Training

The International Community for Learning and Social Spectrums (ICLASS), a global education and professional development consultancy, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Ashanti Regional Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) to deliver contemporary training programmes aimed at retooling teachers for the evolving educational landscape.

The initiative, dubbed the Key Education Enhancement Project 2025 (KEEP 2025), is set to commence on September 5, 2025, with the maiden workshop benefiting 500 teachers and education administrators from public basic and senior high schools within the Kumasi Metropolis. Subsequently, all 42 municipalities and districts in the Ashanti Region are expected to host similar sessions.

The training runs under the theme: “Building Resilient Safeguards: Rebranding the Ghanaian Teacher through their Multiple Intelligences.”

Training Focus

Participants will explore contemporary modules such as:

Safeguarding as a Core Function – equipping schools with strategies to create safer and thriving learning environments.

Artificial Intelligence in Education – a masterclass on AI and its impact on modern teaching and learning.

Inclusive Learning Environments – building approaches that foster inclusivity and harness students’ multiple intelligences.

Thanks to sponsorship from Hollard Life Insurance and First National Bank (FNB), participants will benefit from free feeding, facilitation content, and training materials. Organisers hope that teachers will replicate the lessons within their school communities.

Expected Outcomes

KEEP 2025 is aligned with ICLASS and the KEY Africa Project’s goals to:

Enhance instructional strategies through evidence-based teaching practices.

Inspire creativity, design thinking, and innovation in the teaching profession.

Strengthen teachers’ digital literacy and global education awareness.

Each training will include a monitoring and evaluation component. Schools will have four weeks to showcase how they apply the workshop concepts through photos, videos, and project activities. An evaluation team will assess progress, culminating in the KEEP 2025 Impact Awards to recognize outstanding schools.

The KEY Africa Project

The initiative is delivered by the KEY Africa Project, a flagship of ICLASS, inspired by the acronym “Keep Educating Yourself.” The project serves as a platform for continuous professional development, uniting educators to transform teaching and learning across Africa.

Under the leadership of educationist and parenting coach Dr. Marian Benewa Babah Alargi, the KEY Africa Project emphasizes teachers’ pivotal role in shaping learners, families, and societies, and aims to instill in them a deeper appreciation of their calling.

ICLASS and GES are optimistic that KEEP 2025 will serve as a catalyst for meaningful transformation in schools, aligning with the broader objectives of the Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Education.
