NPP Youth Executives Pick Nomination Forms for Bryan Acheampong’s Flagbearer Bid

A group of energetic and determined youth executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have thrown their weight behind Dr. Bryan Acheampong, picking his nomination forms to contest the party’s flagbearership race ahead of the 2028 general elections.

The delegation, made up of constituency and regional youth leaders, visited the NPP’s national headquarters in Accra to formally secure the forms before handing them over to Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, former Tema West Member of Parliament and Campaign Manager for Dr. Acheampong.

Receiving the forms, Mr. Ahenkorah described the action as a powerful endorsement of Dr. Acheampong’s leadership aspirations, emphasising that the support of young party executives was a clear sign of trust and belief in his capabilities.

“This is not just about picking forms; it’s about the future of the NPP and Ghana,” he said. “When the youth take this initiative, it shows they believe in a leader who can unite our party, deliver on his promises, and secure victory in 2028.”

He assured the group that the campaign would be anchored on unity, competence, and delivering tangible results for both the party and the country.

Members of the delegation cited Dr. Acheampong’s track record in public service, particularly his achievements in the agricultural sector, his discipline, and his effective leadership style as the foundation of their support.

They expressed confidence that his strategic vision and commitment to party cohesion would give the NPP the needed edge in the next general elections.

Political watchers say the early mobilisation of grassroots support could give Dr. Acheampong significant momentum as the party heads into the primaries scheduled for January 2026. With the nomination process now open, all eyes will be on how contenders will woo delegates in the months ahead.
