Kofi Adade Foundation Appeals for Sponsorship to Support Orphans and Needy Pupils in Ashanti Region

The Kofi Adade Foundation, a charitable organization committed to supporting vulnerable children, has issued a heartfelt appeal for sponsorship to aid orphans and needy pupils across four districts and municipalities in the Ashanti Region. The targeted areas include Sekyere Kumawu District, Sekyere East District, Ejisu Municipal, and Atwima Kwanwoma Municipal.

The initiative, spearheaded by Kofi Adade, a senior reporter with Oyerepa TV/FM and Promise TV/FM, seeks to distribute essential educational materials to underprivileged children ahead of the new academic term.

Scheduled for September 1, 2025, the outreach program aims to provide over 5,000 identified needy and orphaned pupils with items such as notebooks, exercise books, pens, pencils, and school bags.

In a proposal submitted by the Foundation, Mr. Adade outlined the pressing need for intervention. “A simple research conducted indicates that over 5,000 pupils in the towns and surrounding villages are orphans or come from extremely needy backgrounds,” the document noted.

The main objectives of the program include:

Easing the financial burden on poor parents who struggle to provide school materials.

Motivating deprived children to remain in school and complete basic education.

Offering orphans access to necessary learning tools, ensuring no child is left behind due to lack of basic supplies.

Mr. Adade appealed to individuals, corporate institutions, and philanthropists to support the cause. “I wish my application would be considered with a kind gesture,” he stated.

The Kofi Adade Foundation has previously been involved in various humanitarian projects and continues to position itself as a pillar of hope for underprivileged children in Ghana.

Potential sponsors and partners are encouraged to reach out and contribute toward this noble cause.
