Three Fulani Herdsmen Shot Dead, One Injured in Eastern Region

Three Fulani herdsmen were shot and killed by unidentified gunmen on Tuesday, May 20, at Nkawkaw in Ghana’s Eastern Region. A fourth individual was seriously injured during the attack, which occurred in front of traders and bystanders.

According to eyewitnesses, the masked attackers arrived on a motorbike and opened fire indiscriminately. Two victims died instantly, while a third was fatally shot while attempting to escape. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, sparking fear and concern among local residents.

No arrests have been made yet. Police have launched a full investigation and pledged to apprehend the culprits.
