Articulator truck falls on its side after uprooting giant billboard

Two escaped unhurt when an articulator truck loaded with unspecified goods fell on its side at the Santasi Roundabout March 18, 2025
The accident occured at around 2:30 am when the truck from the Burkina Faso, with registration number AJ-5544-MD failed its breaks.
An eye witness who spoke to DGN said the vehicle was heading towards Patasi from Santasi when the incident occurred.
In trying to save some incoming vehicles from the opposite side, the driver of the truck veered off from his lane before falling on its side.
According to the eye witness, one the tyres of the articulator truck burst before hitting and uprooting some signposts and a giant billboard belonging to one of the telecom networks.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck and his mate were miraculously seen after the accident with no injuries whatsoever.
“The driver and his mate may be using charms that is why they were able to escape without being hurt. We heard a strange sound and we sensed an accident has occurred. When we rushed to the scene, we saw the driver and his mate walking majestically towards us with no stains of blood,” the eye witness said.
The eye witness narrated that there were total blackouts in the area after one of the electrical poles was pull out by the truck.
Whe a reporter of this portal arrived at the scene at about 7:30am, there were policemen around directing traffic as a result of the accident.
Again, at about 4:00 pm, when this reporter went to the scene, the truck was still lying there with no sign of being towed away, a situation that has worried some neighbors and passerbys.
“We may not hear something good if this truck is not towed away by the close of the day. This area will be dark and another accident may occur if it is left to lie here,” said one Doreen who plies her trade around.
