Video: Complete our abandoned CHIP Compound- Bedabour residents cry

Residents of Bedabour in the Atwima Mponua of the Ashanti Region are appealing to the government to come their aid by completing a 16-year-old abandoned CHIP compound.

The facility which began during the administration of the late John Evans Atta Mills has been stalkedand all efforts to get it completed under the previous governments have proven futile, according to the Assembly Member of the area, Honourable Omono Asamoah.

The building was initiated in 2013 by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government led by His Excellency John Evans Atta Mills and no government officials in this area have made effort to complete it.

Now that NDC has been voted into power we are appealing to President John Dramani Mahama administration to complete it for us,” he disclosed this to Angel FM’s correspondent, Akwasi Nkansah.

According to him, the CHIP compound when completed would serve about 300 people in the community and other seven neighboring communities, including Beposo, ,Kontomiremu, Abompe, Bedifi, Kwamedwaa, Kyenkyetaa and Mansaso.

“All these seven communities depend on the Bedabour CHIP compound for medical attention”he told angelfm.HON.Asamoah believes if the structure is completed it will go a long way to enhance the quality health care delivery in the community and its enclaves.
