Asakyem Youth for Development eulogises Prez Mahama’s appointment of Dr. Mary Awusi as CEO of Free Zones Authority
Asakyem Youth For Development (AYFD), the youth in three constituencies of the Asante Akyem enclave, Asante Akyem North, South and Central in the Ashanti Region has commended, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for appointing Dr. Mary Awusi, as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Free Zones Authority.
In a statement issued by Ampong Emmanuel, the President of Asakyem Youth for Development, the group described the appointment as a visionary decision that reflects the President’s commitment to the good people of Asante Akyem.
Dr. Mary Awusi dedication and service to the NDC party at various levels. They highlighted her contributions as a 2016 Parliamentary Candidate of Asante Akyem North, Deputy Women Organiser, Deputy Director of interparty relations and civil society organisations for the NDC.
She is among few females who was able to make it to the 2024 National Campaign team of the NDC.
“Asakyem Youth for Development remains exceedingly grateful to President Mahama for this inspiring decision. Congratulations, Dr. Mary Awusi. Asante Akyem is on the path to greatness once again,” they concluded.
