Restore Dr. Duffuor’s Bank Licence- Group Appeal To Prez Mahama

THE Ashanti Youth Caucus of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), has appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to as a matter of urgency restore the license of Dr Kwabena Duffour Financial Institutions and other institutions’

They asserted that the restoration of these licenses withdrew by the previous administration would create more jobs for the teeming unemployed youth especially graduates in the Ashanti.

President of Ashanti Youth Caucus stated that the private sector is the backbone of the economy and it would be appropriate for any government that believes in job creation to reduce unemployment to prioritize the private sector and support them to flourish.

He urged the President to restore Dr. Duffuor’s Uni Bank and UniCredit and other business owners who suffered same in the hands of the previous government for political reasons to ensure that the unemployment rate among the youth especially graduates is reduce as one of the main reasons most of the youth campaigned and voted for the NDC in the December 7 2024 general elections

In another development, Mr. Basoah commended John Dramani Mahama for his inspiring appointments.

According to him, the President’s appointments so far are inspiring and given hope for the the country’s socio-economic growth and the best way of restoring hope to the Ghanaian economy and to reduce the rate of unemployment among the youth.
