Mahama Makes Key Security Appointments, Kofi Boakye in

PRESIDENT John Dramani Mahama has made some key appointments in the security sector to ensure national security and ensuring safety of the nation.
John Mahama, the President in a statement signed by Acting Spokesperson to the President, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, acting Spokesperson to the President also named former Chief of Staff Douglas Prosper Bani as the National Security Advisor to the President.
Mr. Bani, a former Minister for the Interior, brings a wealth of experience and expertise.
COP Nathan Kofi Boakye (Rtd.), has also been appointed as Director of Operations at the Presidency. He will oversee operational effectiveness in security matters.
Charles Kipo has been baned as the Director General of the National Intelligence Bureau.
DCOP Abdul-Osman Razak will serve as the National Security Coordinator, ensuring a cohesive strategy across all security initiatives.
