Justina Nelson Appointed as Acting CEO of MIIF

GROUP Head at Zenith Bank, Justina Nelson has been appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) by President John Dramani Mahama.

She takes over from Edward Nana Yaw Koranteng whose appointment was revoked with immediate effect by the President.

Justina Nelson has a strong oversight responsibility for both energy and commercial Banking sectors, having worked in the industry for over 20 years in various senior positions in both private and public institutions.

In a statement to announce her appointment, it stated that, “The President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has in accordance with Article 195(1) of the Constitution and Section 21(2( of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) Act, 2018 (Act 978), appointed Ms. Justina Nelson as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Minerals Income Investment Fund.”

The Appointee holds a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law and a Masterbin Business Administration (Marketing) both from the University of Ghana.

She also holds Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Management and Psychology from the University of Ghana.
