Mahama Runs To Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs

HIS Excellency John Dramani Mahama has called on business leaders and entrepreneurs to support his administration in making sure that the nation’s economic growth thrives.
“To the business leaders and entrepreneurs, I invite you to support this new model and join me in shaping a business environment where creativity thrives and where the fruits of your investment contribute to the collective welfare of our nation,” he remarked.
President John Mahama made this call in his inaugural speech at the Independence Square on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
He explained that the roles of businessmen and entrepreneurs in driving the economy forward cannot be overstated, adding that their innovation and dedication will be the backbone of the success story of the nation.
President Mahama also pledged to look at the tax regime and rationalize it so that it will be more transparent and fair.
“Members of the business community, I assure you, Ghana is open for business again,” he made this clarion call to the gathering.
The swearing-in of President Mahama attacted scores of dignitaries from various countries. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who was the special guest of honour for the occasion.
Presidents, Heads of Government and Development Agencies, and institutions were all invited to the occasion.
Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo amd his vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia were all present at the swearing-in ceremony of President John Dramani Mahama.
