Mahama Names Interim National Security Team Ahead of Appointments

PRESIDENT-ELECT John Dramani Mahama has formed a six-member Interim National Security Coordinating Team to oversee national security issues before substantive appointments are announced.
They will be led by Prosper Douglas Bani. This was contained in a statement by Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Special Aide to the President-Elect on Friday, January 3, 2025, will officially begin its mandate on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The team will be led by Prosper Douglas Bani, a former Minister for the Interior.
They have been assigned to ensure seamless coordination of national security operations during the transition period.
