Coach Ogum Debunks Tenadu’s Speculations

“HAVE You heard from any Kotoko media space, he is not going anywhere. He is with us and so please it is never true. Let me just use this media platform to tell everybody that Samuel Tenadu is Asante Kotoko player and he is going nowhere. Whoever has written that should immediately retract it,” these are the words of coach Prosper Nartey Ogum, the Asante Kotoko head coach when he was addressing the speculations surrounding Tenadu’s future at the club.

The defensive midfielder joined Kotoko from Legon Cities Football Club after signing three years deal but is yet to rediscover the form that made his employers went for his signature.

Even though he has been featured in some of the matches since his arrival to the porcupine family,Tenadu is yet to convince the management of the club that brought him.

Before his coming to Kotoko, he was a torn in the flesh of many premier league players that played against him in the midfield when he was at Legon Cities. His dictates at the midfield against opponents he played against were admiration to all and sundry that watched him player.

However, he has failed to display same skills since he was signed by the Kumasi based club.

But Prosper Nartey Ogum addressing the media on Friday December 27 at the Baba Yara Stadium call out on some media outlets fabricating stories about the club. He debunked the claims and said that Tenadu remains Kotoko player and that he was going nowhere as it has been speculated.

According to him, Tenadu not in the starting line-ups does not mean he has no future. He stated that he has confidence in the player and at the rest time the midfielder will find his feet again to prove doubters wrong.
